• Worktops in wood, laminate, stone or composite material
• Sinks, taps and fitted units once they have been taken out
• Built-in appliances such as ovens, hobs, dishwashers and fridges (see Electronic Waste Disposal)
• Extractor hoods, kitchen tables and chairs
• Loose kitchen items such as shelving, trolleys and storage units
Who this service is for
Kitchen removal is usually tied to a project with a deadline. Most customers contact us when they are:
• Renovating. The old kitchen must be out before the new one can be installed.
• Replacing only part of a kitchen. A few units, a worktop or an appliance are being swapped for new ones.
• Moving out. Furniture-style kitchen pieces that stay behind need to be cleared before handover.
• Managing a property. A dated kitchen is being stripped out between tenants or before a sale.
Full or partial kitchen removal
You can remove the whole kitchen or just some of it. The table shows how the main options differ.

Why choose this service
Timed around your renovation
Kitchen fitters work to a schedule, and old units get in the way. We agree a collection window that matches your project, so the space is clear when the next stage begins.
We handle the heavy pieces
Stone and solid-wood worktops, tall units and built-in appliances are heavy and awkward. Our team carries them out safely, so you do not risk injury or damage to floors and stairs.
A fixed price in writing
We confirm the total before you book. You can plan your renovation budget with a clear figure, and we explain what drives the price.
How it works
From first message to a cleared kitchen, there are four steps:
1. Request a quote. Describe what is being removed, mention the floor and lift, and send photos of the kitchen if you can.
2. Receive a fixed price. We confirm the cost in writing, so you know the total before you commit.
3. We collect. Our team arrives in the agreed window and carries the kitchen items out of your home.
4. Responsible hand-over. We transport everything and hand it over to an appropriate licensed recycling or disposal point.
How to prepare for your collection
A few steps keep the visit quick and the price accurate:
• Empty all cabinets, drawers and shelves, and remove crockery, food and personal items.
• Disconnect appliances from power and water before collection, using a qualified person where needed.
• Tell us whether units are already removed from the wall or still fixed in place.
• Clear the route from the kitchen to the front door, including hallways and stairs.
• Check whether your building asks for notice about vehicles or lift use.
Items that need special handling
Fridges and freezers contain refrigerant and need careful handling, so please mention them when you request your quote. Some materials cannot go in a standard load at all, such as paint, solvents and other chemicals, gas bottles, batteries and asbestos-containing materials. We will confirm what we can take and what needs a separate arrangement.
Pricing
The price depends mainly on these factors:
|
Factor |
What it means |
Effect |
|
Size of the kitchen |
The number of units, worktop length and appliances |
More items need more time and vehicle space |
|
Condition of removal |
Whether units are already detached or still fitted |
Items ready to carry take less time |
|
Access |
The floor, and whether there is a lift or only stairs |
Stairs and upper floors add handling time |
|
Material and weight |
Stone and solid-wood worktops versus light laminate |
Heavy pieces take more handling |
Partial kitchen collections start from . The exact price is always confirmed by quote before booking, and photos are usually enough to give you a firm figure.
